1. Unified cloud management

   In the face of an unpredictable business environment, business agility and resilience have never been more important. Cisco's new cloud management capabilities provide a unified experience for Cisco Meraki (cloud-managed networking and security), Cisco Catalyst (enterprise networking switches) and Cisco Nexus (data center switches) portfolios, while the new Cisco ThousandEyes solution optimizes WAN performance in an advanced way.

2. Cloud security

   Cisco has unveiled its new strategy for a global, integrated cloud security platform that delivers secure access and connectivity for organizations of any size and industry. Cisco Security Cloud will be a unified, open and neutral platform for protecting end-to-end hybrid multi-cloud environments.

3. Optimized hybrid work

   Responding to the growing trend of shared desktops in the office, the industry's first hybrid work phone - CiscoVideo Phone 8875 - combines video calls and meetings to improve productivity and reduce meeting fatigue. Likewise, new features in Webex Calling - part of Webex Suite - improve flexibility, reliability and audio. The integration of ThousandEyes into Webex Control Hub provides better experiences for Webex users by enabling IT administrators to proactively monitor application performance issues. And Salesforce and Oracle Eloqua are now integrated with Webex Webinars to provide flexible workflows.

   Cisco has introduced AppDynamics Cloud, a cloud visibility and analytics platform for applications that rely on distributed architectures and services. Designed to eliminate complexity, it enables IT teams to deliver the digital experiences that businesses, consumers and end users demand today.

5. Free open source solutions

   Apps are no longer simply an extension of the brand or an added channel to attract customers; they are 'the business'. Now available, Cisco's Panoptica app and Calisti app for developers are the latest additions to the suite of API-first, cloud-native tools that facilitate faster application development cycles and provide enterprises with the connectivity, security and visibility needed for the best digital experiences.
