What is WiFi4EU?
The European Commission has launched the WiFi4EU initiative to finance wireless network projects in public spaces.
The initiative of the European Commission Wifi4EU has already awarded almost 8,000 bonuses of € 15,000. Meraki has a very interesting proposal.

Who can apply?
The WiFi4EU initiative is open to public entities within the European Union, including Norway and Iceland
What is the amount?
The total program budget is € 120M until mid-2020. Each beneficiary will receive a bonus of € 15,000.
When will the registry open?
Registration is now open in the WiFi4EU portal . The next application is expected in mid-2020.
What is the process?
The application is done online in the WiFi4EU portal . Once it has been approved, the beneficiary will receive a voucher to cover the costs of the infrastructure and installation.
