How is Cisco Room Bar BYOD different from Cisco Room Bar?
Cisco Room Bar BYOD is a new way to implement Room Bar without Room Navigator. There is no difference in hardware, however, the software is configured differently to accommodate USB-C BYOD transfer use cases. Administrators can change all software configurations as needed. When used as BYOD, no Internet connection or Webex registration is required for USB-C transfer functionality. Simply connect the device to power, a display and a laptop (with the user’s preferred meeting client) via USB-C and you’re ready to go.
