Cisco ISE Identity Services Engine
Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) is a centralized secure network access control platform that allows you to identify users and devices, enforce policies based on profile, and ensure that only authorized devices access the network, whether by wire, Wi-Fi, or VPN.
This system identifies users and their devices, distinguishing between corporate, non-corporate and guest devices. It provides the appropriate level of access according to the profile, regardless of whether the connection is wired, wireless or VPN remote access.
CISCO ISE is capable of recognizing a wide variety of devices, from laptops and desktops to iPads and smartphones.
