Factory Reset Cisco 7800 and 8800 IP Models
Troubleshooting Cisco phones
In many cases when you begin to detect that a cisco ip phone is experiencing performance problems,
that are anomalous or all basic troubleshooting has already been done, and the terminal continues to show malfunctions. Cisco recommends resetting the terminal to factory settings.
When resetting a terminal to factory settings, most users end up doing it through the terminal menu,
However, the so-called soft reset (reboot through the terminal) usually does not work,
Therefore, it is important to know how to perform a hard factory reset (Reset using the keyboard), which despite being a more complex method is more effective.
