Integration of Cisco video teams with Microsoft Teams. Cloud Video Interoperability (CVI)
Cloud Video Interoperability (CVI) is a Microsoft certified solution that enables CISCO WEBEX meeting room teams and personal video devices to join Microsoft Teams meetings.
Interoperability between Cisco Webex and MS Teams devices.
Allows Cisco Webex devices to connect to Microsoft Teams meeting services. This enables Cisco Webex and third-party SIP devices to join Microsoft Teams meetings with a simple and intuitive interoperability experience.
All of this will benefit customers who have requested that Cisco and Microsoft provide an interoperability solution to allow their Cisco video devices to join Microsoft team meetings in a seamless manner.
In the following video you can see how you can join a Microsoft Teams meeting from a Cisco Webex device:
The only question we’ll ask you is How many active video teams will be connecting to Microsoft Teams?
‘Active’ means the video teams that are going to participate in the Microdoft Teams sessions.
Example of meeting invitation generated by Microsoft:
1.- Teams users create meetings in their calendars using the native Microsoft plugin
2.- Invitations include a clickable link and PSTN dial-up information
3.- If the client has CVI enabled, additional details are added for SIP callers
