A través del art. 12 se establecen por el RGPD las condiciones generales en las que se deben de dar los derechos del interesado, en lo referente a las formas se establece en el considerando 59 que:
The person in charge must provide means to the interested party so that the requests are submitted by electronic means, especially when said treatment is carried out by said means. In addition, a response must be given by electronic means if the request is made through them, unless the interested party states otherwise.
